Young Parent Groups
We are currently facilitating two Young Parent’s Groups one in East Malling and one in Tunbridge Wells. Both these groups meet at their local Children’s Centres where the parents have the opportunity to use the other facilities the Centres offer. The parents are introduced to the Group by the local midwife or health visitor when they are pregnant and a programme of activities is arranged for them to cover all aspects of parenting, looking after their own and their baby’s health, money management and further education opportunities.
There are craft activities and other organisations such as the Beat Project are invited to give specialist activities.
